Where every child is treated like a king or queen.
The Difference
Purpleprincess Paradise is committed to helping you make a fully informed
decision about your child's future. Here are some resources that may help you evaluate the quality of the provider you are
considering.
Checklists
Choose an age group above for a checklist that you can take along as you
visit the centers in your area. Each provides a list of essential criteria to ensure high quality learning and care for your
child. The Purpleprincess Paradise checklists are based on guidelines furnished by the National Association for
the Education of Young Children.
NAEYC - The National Association for the Education of Young Children is
a professional organization dedicated to helping every child get the highest quality of care and education available. NAEYC
accreditation continues to be one of the most reliable signs of quality care. The NAEYC Website provides directories of accredited
educational centers, along with guidelines for evaluating each center that you visit.
NAEYC Accreditation
I believe every child deserves the best education and care possible, and every parent deserves the confidence of knowing
their child's learning center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
The NAEYC Accreditation Process
NAEYC accreditation is granted on a program by program basis. A Program is not accredited by NAEYC until it has successfully
completed the entire accreditation process, including an on site visit and subsequent review by NAEYC. To determine if a particular
program of Purpleprincess Paradise is accredited you may review the list of accredited programs at www.naeyc.org.
NAEYC evaluates learning centers based on the following criteria, each of which are core elements of the Purpleprincess
Paradise approach:
- Developmentally appropriate curricula for children
- High standards for quality interactions between children and staff
- A safe and healthy environment for children
- Sufficient teacher-to-student ratios, with age-appropriate group sizes
- Strong communication between parents and staff
